PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve highly efficient incidence and emission by changing the incidence and emission port positions of light even if a slider is in a flexure structure and changes its attitude. SOLUTION: A light incidence port 14 is provided closer to and directly above the rocking axis of a pitching support shaft 10. Incidence light 15 is guided close to a slider by an optical waveguide or an optical fiber and then is propagated in the air and enters the incidence port 14. By forming the formation surface of the incidence port 14 and the side of the incidence light 15 of an incidence plane 12 in a step shape where a slider 11 is cut partially, light is propagated to the light incidence port 14 without any obstacles. Then, since the incidence plane 12 is located directly above the rocking shaft 10, the angle changes but the position of the incidence port does not change. By providing the incidence port at the immovable point, light can be applied always constantly and efficiently regardless of the attitude of the slider 11 during scanning. |
