PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to simply switch transmission in a series unit for a two-way CATV system allowed to be switched to either one of outgoing signal transmission and two-way transmission and to prevent the system from being carelessly switched by a person other than a manager. SOLUTION: A switch 46 for switching a terminal Tb1 connected to a terminal equipment to a state capable of outputting only an outgoing signal or a state capable of inputting/outputting incoming and outgoing signals by using an incoming signal interrupting high pass filter(HPF) is stored in a case of a series unit 17. The switch 36 consists of a slide switch and a projection 36a to be its operation part can be operated from the external through an operation hole 46b pierced on the bottom 46b of a recessed part 46a for protecting the terminal Tb1 formed on a terminal board 46. Thereby switching operation can be simply executed, and since the switch 36 is normally covered with a connector 28, the switch 36 cannot be carelessly switched. |
