PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely and simply detect the conditions of movement such as the direction of movement, etc., of a substance to be detected such as a pachinko ball, etc. SOLUTION: In this apparatus, a coil L1 is formed on each circuit board 13, and two detecting elements each of which is composed of a switching circuit SW and an oscillation circuit CO which oscillates use the inductance component of this coil are provided adjoining each other, and the apparatus discriminates the condition of movement of a substance to be detected from the output conditions of the two detecting elements 10A, 10B. If a pachinko ball P passes through through holes, the order of output changes of the detecting elements 10A, 10B differs depending on the direction of its movement. By using this, the direction of movement is detected, and the total number of pachinko balls supplied to a pachinko machine panel is detected. |
