PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brushless fan motor whose emission of particle contaminants is very low and that can be manufactured at low cost. SOLUTION: In a brushless fan motor 10, a magnet 15 is either provided with surface-covering treatment so as to prevent the emission of contaminants or structured with a material that does not emit the contaminants. A winding 19 and a control board 20 are provided with surface-covering treatment so as to prevent the emission of the contaminants. Bearings 16, 17 that support a rotating shaft are either provided with surface-covering treatment so as to prevent the emission of contaminants or structured with a material that does not emit the contaminants as retainers. A solid lubricant or gelatinous membrane lubricant is used as a bearing lubricant.
