PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a compact portable telephone terminal served also as information terminal excellent in portability and to allow a user to obtain more information by providing a single portable telephone terminal with both of functions of a telephone terminal and a distribution information terminal. SOLUTION: A portable radio telephone set 1 can be connected to a center 3 holding a music source and a related character information database through a public base station 2 by radio to communicate data by radio between the antenna 1a of the set 1 and the antenna 2a of the station 2. By operating the operation key 1b of the set 1, a desired music is transmitted to the set 1 from the music source in the center 3 and it is received to be stored. Related teletext data is displayed on the LCD 1c of the set 1. Thus, when a user desires to listen to music, the user operates the operation key to select desired music data from a flash memory, and it is outputted from a speaker, a headphone, etc., as a reproduced music via a D/A converter and an amplifier.
