PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio access system for making the speed of non- telephone communication in a WLL(wireless local loop) system equal to that of a fixed network by setting plural radio channels according to a communication speed. SOLUTION: In this system, a CODEC operates highly efficient encoding and decoding by using a voice signal as an object, and an MODEM as a communication protocol converter for analog FAX detects data communicating speed information. Also, a CNT-A or a CNT-B is provided as a control part, and a separating and synthesizing part operates separation and synthesis for matching a signal rate with a radio channel signal rate, and an SW operates the switching of the voice signal and a non-telephone signal, and an MUX/ DMUX operates the multiplication/demultiplication of a speech channel (TCH) signal and a control channel(CCH) from the CNT-A or the CNT-B for matching with a radio interface.
