PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for density correction in which a resetting of display density correction is easily conducted and the operability is improved. SOLUTION: A time measuring means 107 measures the elapsed time from the completion of a last input from a coordinate input means 101. When the measured value exceeds a prescribed value, a processing means 105 changes the display density stored in a display density storage means 106 in accordance with the processing order stored in a processing procedure storage means 104. Moreover, when the measured value of the means 107 exceeds the prescribed value, the display density of a display means 102 is controlled by a display density control means 103 in accordance with the processing procedures stored in the means 104.
