RECOVERY TRAP CONTAINER FOR CARBONIC ACID GAS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set up an air conditioner in a short time by filling a recovery trap container for carbonic acid gas with calcium hydroxide and inorganic hydrated compound. SOLUTION: A fixture is removed together with a carbonic acid gas bomb from a service port 8b at a gas side three-way valve 8 of an outdoor unit A. Subsequently, a gas recovery trap container 13 is attached to the port 8b through a fixture 14. By this attachment, the container 13 and connection piping 10 are permitted to communicate, so that carbonic acid gas in the connection piping 10 is directed to the container 13 through the port 8b. The container 13 is filled with calcium hydroxide and inorganic hydrated compound which is fused at the temperature of 30-60 deg.C to allow the carbonic acid gas in the container to come to contact with them and effectively work as crystallization water.
