PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microsocket capable of connecting a solid state imaging device to a coaxial cable electrically and mechanically by one operation and favorably applicable to the tip of an endoscope. SOLUTION: The microsocket has a male side socket 4 and a female side socket 7 fitted with each other. The male side socket 4 has a plurality of pads 6 electrically connected to a solid state imaging device 1 and a plurality of male type terminals 5 positioned on the opposite side. The female side socket 7 has through-holes 10 for passing a plurality of signal lines 12 of a coaxial cable 11 and a plurality of female type terminals 8 as many as the male type terminals 5. The plurality of signal lines 12 pass through the through-holes 10 of the female side sockets 7, and the respective tips are bent outward, and respective cable conductors 12a are accommodated in grooves 8a of the female type terminals 8. By pressing the male side sockets 4 against the female side sockets 7 and vice versa, the male type terminals 5 and the female type terminals 8 are fitted with each other, and the cable conductors 12a are crushed so as to be crimped.
