PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stirrer for a microwave oven, capable of uniformly stirring a high frequency in a heating chamber. SOLUTION: Power by a geared motor 14 is transmitted via a gear 14a whereby a spiral provided on a rotating shaft 2 is rotated to provide movement between projections at both ends. After one of the protrusions is reached, the geared motor 14 changes its rotating direction, followed by starting reverse rotation of a stirrer 1. The stirrer 1 with a reflecting plate is rotated by the air flow of a blowing fan for cooling electrical equipment parts. The reflecting plate is moved radially to the rotating shaft 2 with the centrifugal force developed in rotating the stirrer 1 and the self weight of the reflecting plate.
