PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively provide a recording device capable of surely ejecting a disk cartridge when it is ejected, and preventing the jumping-out of the disk cartridge caused by the ejecting operation. SOLUTION: One end of the arm of a twist coil spring 26 is abutted on a shutter opening/closing lever 25 for opening/closing the shutter 3 of a disk cartridge 2, an ejecting force adjusting tool 27 is abutted on the arm abutted on the shutter opening/closing lever 25 when the disk cartridge 2 is inserted into a specified position, and the tip of the arm is moved in the inserting direction of the disk cartridge 2 with the ejecting force adjusting tool 27 as a fulcrum when the disk cartridge 2 is further inserted. Thus, the disk cartridge 2 is forcibly ejected in an initial ejection stage, and slowly ejected from the midway of the ejection stage.
