METHOD AND DEVICE FOR STEREOSCOPIC IMAGE DISPLAY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make reproducingly displayable a stereoscopic image such as an animation image by a hologram while decreasing flickers in a method to record and reproduce interference fringes of the objective light and nonscattering light as a hologram in a recording medium, by irradiating the recording medium with a plurality of nonscattering light beams at different incident angles. SOLUTION: The laser beam emitted from a laser beam generator 200 is divided by a first polarization beam splitter 205 and a second polarization beam splitter 208 into two laser beams, which are used as referential light (A)1009, (B)1008 to irradiate a hologram recording medium 212. The objective light 1010 interferes with each of the referential light (A)1009 and (B)1008 to record interference fringes as a hologram in the hologram recording medium 212. Only when the referential light (A) 1009 or (B) 1008 is used to irradiate the medium, the scattered light 1011 by the interference fringes recorded in the hologram recording medium 212 enters the eyes of an observer 3 and the observer can see the hologram image.
