PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the recording and reproducing to and from respective recording films under nearly the same conditions and to improve reliability at the time of recording as well. SOLUTION: A magneto-optical disk 1 is constituted by laminating a first protective film 102, the first recording film 103, a substrate 109, the second recording film 107 and a second protective film 108. The recording films 103 and 107 are formed by using magneto-optical material. Since the substrate 109 is interposed between the recording films 103 and 107, such thing that the other recording film is warmed up to a considerable temperature at the time of recording of the one recording film does not occur and the problem of the reliability does not occur. The recording and reproducing are so executed that, for example, the one recording film is irradiated with a light beam via another recording film. There is no more need for changing the conditions, such as power and focus, of the light beam in the case the recording film 103 is subjected to the recording and reproducing and the case the recording film 107 is subjected to the recording and reproducing. Magnetic fields easily arrive at the corresponding to recording film from a magnetic head at the time of recording. |
