PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moving image editing device which easily enables editing processing of a moving image in a short time. SOLUTION: Data of a thumb nail A which is a thumb nail of first moving image data before coupling and data of a thumb nail B which is a thumb nail of second moving image data are called (steps 701 and 702). Next, data of a half upper left part of the called thumb nail A are copied to a corresponding position of a thumb nail C (step 703). Then, data of a half lower right part of the thumb nail B are copied to the thumb nail C (step 704) and a band-shaped boundary line is written in a boundary part of the thumb nail C (step 705). Finally, data of the thumb nail C are retained as a thumb nail for the moving image data after coupling (step 706). Thus, it is possible to realize a moving image editing device which can easily perform editing processing a moving image in a short time.
