PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a night vision color camera for outputting a color picture even at the time of photographing a subject in a dark place. SOLUTION: This camera is provided with an infrared ray irradiating means 1 and an ultraviolet ray irradiating means 2 for irradiating a subject 30, a first lens 3a and a second lens 3b for converging lights reflected from the subject, an ultraviolet ray cut filter 4a for cutting ultraviolet rays from the lights converged by the first lens, an infrared ray cut filter 4b for cutting infrared rays from the lights converged by the second lens, a first CCD element 5a for receiving the lights from the ultraviolet ray cut filter, and for outputting an infrared picture signal, a second CCD element 5b for receiving the lights from the infrared ray cut filter, and for outputting an ultraviolet picture signal, and a color judging means 6 for judging a color from the infrared picture signal and the ultraviolet picture signal outputted form the first and second CCD elements, and for outputting a color picture signal.
