PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pointer of a light emission type capable of easily finding out the spot indicated by a player. SOLUTION: The pointer has an optical radiator 1 and a grip 10 containing an LED 11, a dry cell 18, etc. The optical radiator 1 has a tubular clad 3 and a core 2 composed of material having the refractive index higher than the refractive index of this clad material. Plural lengths of belt-like reflection layers 4A, 4B and 4C are formed between the tubular clad 3 and the core 2 along the longitudinal direction thereof. The light passing the core 2 is reflected and scattered by the reflection layers 4A, 4B and 4C and is radiated from the outer peripheral surface of the tubular clad 3 on the side opposite to the side formed with the reflection layers. The light is radiated onto a beam from its tip.
