PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a light source device which can be miniaturized. SOLUTION: An aperture part 211C for leading cables 226A and 226B into a lamp housing 184 is formed on a placing plate 211 nearly orthogonal to a rising plate 212 provided with a connector 223. By leading round and wiring the cables 226A and 226B from the connector 223 to the aperture part 211C, the cables 226A and 226B need not be bent inside the housing 184. Thus, room is spatially formed in the housing 184 and a light source lamp unit 8 is miniaturized.
