PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a projection screen having a high reflection noise reducing effect, obtaining a pleasant acoustic effect by completely preventing reflection noise, made advantageous in terms of cost and restraining the reflection noise to be little. SOLUTION: The reflection noise E2+E6 on a screen surface is effectively reduced by the sound absorbing effect of a sound absorbing material layer 2 by constituting so that the layer 2 may be put on the projection surface side of the screen A, and punching work is not required, so that the screen is advantageous in terms of cost. The projection surface of the layer 2 is not made a smooth surface like a mirror surface, that is, it is positively made a rugged surface or a surface material layer 3 is provided on the surface of the layer 2 so as to make the surface of the layer 3 the projection surface, then the layer 3 is made a fiber flocking layer, or a soft paint coating layer, a mesh material layer, a fabric material layer or a knitting material layer. Furthermore, by combining with such constitution that the paint coating layer is provided, the entire reflection noise energy of the screen is more effectively reduced, whereby the pleasant acoustic effect is obtained by completely preventing the reflection noise.
