PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance versatility of a showcase by altering the pressure to a set level corresponding to the set temperature for a second operation mode in switching from first operation mode to second operation mode is detected. SOLUTION: When the circuit 23 in an operation controller 22 detects switching of a showcase from a first operation mode, i.e., business operation mode, to a second operation mode, i.e., non-business operation mode, a pressure setter 25 alters the pressure to a set level corresponding to the set temperature for the non-business operation mode. Furthermore, the circuit 23 connects a cover detector 35 with an unlight detector 37 in order to detect presence of night cover of the showcase and to detect unlighting of an illuminator in the showcase. Since the refrigeration system performs control for altering the set pressure independently, versatility can be enhanced.
