<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an object detection sensor that can detect an object adhering to a detection window, and advantageously suppresses the improper detection caused by the diffusion of light from a light emission part. SOLUTION: A sensor 1 is fitted to a base 2 with a detection window 20. An optical sensor 3 is arranged at a side apart from the detection window 20 and goes away from an object M, and is equipped with light emission and light reception parts 30 and 31. A shielding member 4 has a shielding property to light being emitted from the light emission part 30, and is included between the optical sensor 3 and the detection window 20. The shielding member 4 covers at least space 33 for light emission out of the space 33 for light emission and space 34 for light reception, and at the same time, connects the space 33 for light emission to the space 34 for light reception.</p> |
