PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain productivity by avoiding generation of pores in a barrier rib, after baking by including an inorganic component becoming a barrier rib of a discharge device or the barrier rib and a dielectric layer by a specific value or more in a barrier rib baking material. SOLUTION: An inorganic component which is to become a barrier rib of a discharge device or the barrier rib and a dielectric layer is set to be included 80 wt.% or more. While injecting a powdery barrier rib baking material at an angle of 45 degrees from a blowing nozzle 21 of a sand blast device, the nozzle 21 is moved by a prescribed distance and an injection quantity and at a nozzle feed speed from the end of a base board. The powdery barrier rib baking material is accumulated in a position separate in the injection direction from directly under the nozzle in a groove of a mold of a dry film, and a mold release polyester film by applying a mold release agent is placed on it to be pressurized from the end by a roller. The powdery barrier rib baking material on the reverse and a photosensitive film is scratched off by a squeegee 27, to perform hardening processing to be dried after heating. Cracks will not be produced as a result of baking, so that foamless satisfactory barrier ribs are obtained.
