PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to reproduce information data even when position of the information data can not be recorded in positional information recording area. SOLUTION: This disk-shaped information recording medium has an information data recording area R in which information data are recorded and a positional information recording area P or Q in which the position data of the information data are recorded and, in the information data recording area R, the recording position data which include the recording start position A and the recording final position F of the recording information data which are lastly recorded are repeatedly recorded several times succeeding to the recording final position F of the information data as specified length of data 21-26. Further, when the data of the recording final position F can not be read from the positional information recording area P or Q, the specified length of data 21-26 are retrieved and are read thereinto, thereby, the recording final position F can be obtained and the reproducing of the information can be achieved.
