Self-supporting Terracotta formwork for support pillar comprises side wall with buttress in upper part and internally damp proof wall

The Terracotta formwork comprises a lower part (1) for carrying the weight of the clay during the drying period. A buttress (3) in the upper part of the side wall (2) which enables the same thickness of wall as the lower part of the wall. This ensures the drying of the clay without deformation due to the weight of the wet clay. The formwork has an interior damp proofed wall (7) able to mold the reinforced mortar without risk of efflorescence outside the formwork. A filling place in the joint of the side wall and buttress is filled with clay (6) before pouring the mortar in order to prevent losses of mortar through these joints.
