PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately detect the speed of a bearing. SOLUTION: The measuring device is the speed-measuring device of a rolling bearing with a bearing retainer 5 of a non-magnetic body and a steel ball 3. A magnet 13 and a Hall element 10 are arranged oppositely while sandwiching the steel ball 3, and the speed of the steel ball 3 is measured by detecting the change in magnetic flux B on a Hall element sensing surface when the steel ball 3 passes the front of the Hall element 10, thus accurately measuring the speed of the bearing.
