A magnet core is constructed from a wire-type magnetic material surface-treated or surface-coated for electric insulation. The magnetic material (1) has a round cross-section, or more specifically the cross-section is preferably square/rectangular or polygonal i.e hexagonal. The magnetic material is bunched together and reinforced by wrapping (e.g. in tape servings), and then specifically mounted in a coil-core moulding body.
