NOVEL CHIRAL PHOSPHORUS LIGANDS AND THE USE THEREOF IN THE PRODUCTION OF OPTICALLY ACTIVE PRODUCTS

The invention relates to novel chiral phosphorus ligands that can be easily produced on the basis of chinoline derivatives which represent inexpensive starting materials. The novel compounds have the general formula (I), wherei n R1, R2, R3, R4, R5 represent chiral or achiral organic residues that are derived from substituted or unsubstituted straight-chain, branched or cyclic aliphatic or aromatic groups and that may be interlinked in the case of R1/R 2 and R4/R5. The invention further relates to the use of chiral phosphorus compounds of the general formula (I) as the catalysts or as the catalyst elements in methods for producing optically active products.
