The present invention relates to a system and method for providing financial services. The system is made up of a CPU (102), memory (110) which includes a first primary storage and a second primary storage area, a removable masse storage device (112) which provides additional data capacity, fixed mass storage (112), display (118), keyboard (104) and network interface (116) connected via bus (114). According to an embodiment of the present invention, a finance service such as insurance, may be provided through the use of reusable modules that may be called upon multiple times for various functions. An example of a pratical result of these modules is that an insurance program may be quickly and easily established in all states with a minimum of duplication of efforts.
