Empirically determined models allow the predetermination of the accurate amount and quality of modified zeolite (1) required to produce textile articles having a specific degree of antibacterial activity in accordance with the requirements for particular applications. Equations accurately predict the relationship between the amount and spatial orientation of modified-zeolite-containing polymers of fibers (11) and the desired degree of antibacterial activity (10).
