The invention is related to a transparent plastic door safety strip at the hinge side of doors or windows to protect fingers and toes from getting jammed, by which the main protecting strip (6) is rigid to bending and is provided with flexible S-formed connecting parts (5) to the flanges (1) at both sides, by which the attachment of the flanges (1) to the door (4) and doorpost (3) is obtained by adhesives or screws or special nails, by which the door safety strip can be fabricated by an extrusion or a co-extrusion method.
