The appts. to cut plasterboards has a cutting rail (4) with an adjustable length and a measurement scale (8), at right angles to a sliding laying rail along an edge of the plasterboard. A clamp at the zero point holds a cutting blade. The cutting blade (7), pref. a conventional carpet cutter, has an extending blade (6) through a passage opening (5) in the cutting rail (4), held by a spring clamp.
