PURPOSE: A rear underbody structure of a vehicle is provided to maintain the normal section shape of a muffler and to increase the capacity of the muffler by forming a rear longitudinal member in the outer opening section shape, bonding a trunk floor panel to the lower face of the rear longitudinal member and slantingly installing a tire receiving unit. CONSTITUTION: A rear underbody structure of a vehicle comprises a longitudinal member(20) lengthwise installed on each rear side of a vehicle body, a rear floor panel(30) integrally bonded to the front upper face of the rear longitudinal member, a cross member(50) integrally bonded to the rear lower face of the rear floor panel and the inner side and lower face of the rear longitudinal member, and a trunk floor panel(40) integrally bonded to the lower face of the cross member and to the lower face of the rear longitudinal member. A tire receiving unit(42) is formed in the trunk floor panel by reducing the depth of the tire receiving unit as much as the height of the rear longitudinal member.
