The invention relates to a hydraulic camshaft adjusting device provided in a rotary piston design which is comprised of a drive wheel (2) that is drive-connected to a crankshaft, and of an impeller wheel (10) that is rotationally fixed to a camshaft (9). The drive wheel (2) comprises a cavity formed by a peripheral wall (3) and by second lateral walls (4, 5). At least one hydraulic working space is formed in said cavity by at least two delimitation walls (7). The impeller wheel (10) comprises at least one radial blade (13) and subdivides, with each blade (13), a hydraulic working space into two hydraulic pressure chambers. Each blade (13) of the impeller wheel (10) is pressed with the upper face (8) thereof onto the peripheral wall (3) of the drive wheel (2) by a spring element (17). According to the invention, each blade (3) of the impeller wheel (10) can be additionally pressed, with its upper face (18), in a radial manner against the peripheral wall (3) of the drive wheel (2) by the pressure force of the hydraulic pressure medium that can be introduced in a targeted manner onto the lower face (16) thereof. This pressing is effected by virtue of the fact that each blade has, on one or both of its faces, at least one additional pressure medium channel (21) that leads out from its lower face (16).
