PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for evaluating the durability of a spring part in a more accurate spring member, and a tool for fixing a sample that is used for the method. SOLUTION: A tool 10 for fixing a sample that evaluates the durability of a counter spring part 15a is provided with a tool block body 11 where a ridge surface 11b in that each extension piece part 15b at both the sides of the counter spring part 15a being subjected to bending of a sample piece 15 is brought into contact is provided at both the sides of a ridge part 11a, and a pair of fixing plates 12 that are mounted and fixed to each ridge surface 11b detachably to fix and retain each extension piece part 15b to each ridge surface 11b while it can be pinched. An inner angleθ2 of the ridge part 11a being composed of both the ridge surfaces 11b is formed to be at an angle for fixing a sample piece corresponding to the displacement of a bending angleθ1 of the sample piece 15, and at the same time a relief part 11c for avoiding the interference with the corresponding spring part 15a is formed at the ridge part 11a. Each fixing part 12 is mounted and fixed in upper and lower directions along the ridge surface 11b so that a position can be adjusted freely.
