The invention concerns an ink composition in particular for continuous deflected ink jet printing comprising: a binding agent; one or several dye(s) and/or pigment(s); and a solvent; wherein said solvent comprises: at least 10 wt. % of 1,3-dioxolane relative to the ink total weight; at least 5 wt. % of one or several other organic compound(s) for dissociating species capable of being ionised in the ink and at least 5 % of water.
