<p>A gear pump used for fluids with extremely low viscosity such as gasoline, water, and hot working fluid capable of reducing internal leakage without applying a high-precision working, comprising a pair of gears (2, 3) rotated in mesh with each other, side plates (4, 5) provided on both sides of the gears in the axial direction of a rotating shaft of the gears, and a seal block (14) sealing the tips of the gears, wherein layers (28, 29) comprising a material low in hardness is formed by coating on contact surfaces (21, 22, 23, 24) between the side plates and the seal block, a variation in working precision is absorbed by its elastic deformation so as to eliminate a high-precision working, whereby the gear pump is used for a fuel feed device of an engine.</p> |
