<p>A connection data converting device for converting connection data on a node constituting a network and for setting up a connection having the advantages that both the PVC which is a static connection and the SVC/SPVC which is a dynamic connection have, comprises connection data managing means for managing connection data on the connection to another exchange and converting means for converting connection data and changing the connection to another exchange to a fixed or variable connection type. The converting means changes the connection type to a variable connection type when establishing a connection to the another exchange and changes the type to the fixed connection type after the establishment. A connection data converting method for converting connection data on a node constituting a network and an exchange are also disclosed.</p> |
