The invention concerns a pressurised tank for storing solid, liquid and/or gaseous substances under pressure higher than atmospheric pressure. Said pressurised tank encloses a space designed to store the substance and comprises at least a connection for filling and/or emptying it. Since the pressurised tank consists, at least partially, of a tube, which is itself made from a synthetic thermoplastic material reinforced with fibres, said material containing more than 10 % by volume of fibres having an average length greater than 50 mm, it has a slight weight and very high resistance to corrosion as well as to damaging chemical substances, while being capable of supporting mechanical stresses resulting usually from very high pressure levels, up to 25 mPa, exerted on it during use.
