The handle for a plastic transport container has a separately made part (35) inserted in the gripping region. The part (35) is of softer, more elastic material and is placed in the mold during injection molding of the container. The part (35) can have hollow regions, optionally with reinforcing ribs (38). An Independent claim is also included for an injection molding process for transport containers where a robot arm places the part (35) in position in the mold. It is held in position by a clamp or movable slide. An in-mold-label can be placed in the same way.
