Disclosed is a tube which is used to convey preferably gaseous media at high temperatures and at high pressure and having a corrugated inner surface which has recesses and elevations. The tube has at least one component which can be inserted in one end of the tube. The tube is characterized in that the region of contact between the inner surface (5) of the tube (1) and the outer surface (13) of the insertable component (11) is provided with at least one sealing element (17). The sealing element (17) is made of a crystalline material and in particular a metallic material, preferably a lead or copper alloy.
