PURPOSE: A hemming process for a hood panel is provided to effectively and efficiently fabricate an incline surface of a panel through the hemming process by facilitating a flange clinching work with respect to both ends of an outer panel when the outer panel is attached to an inner panel. CONSTITUTION: A flange(4) is formed in an outer panel(2) by smoothly bending both ends of the outer panel(2). Then, an inner panel(3), which is smoothly bent, is inserted into the outer panel(2). An upper mold and a lower mold are provided at a clinching surface between the outer panel(2) and the inner panel(3). After that, the flange(4) of the outer panel(2) is pressed at a skin surface at an angle of 110 degrees by using a cam of the upper mold. Then, a hood panel(1) passing through a molding process is placed on the lower mold. In this state, the upper mold moves down so that the inner panel(3) ad the outer panel(4) are partially pressed. Then, the second slider(70) is operated to inwardly bend both ends flange(4) of the outer panel(3). After that, the first slider(60) moves down so as to completely press the flange(4) of the outer panel(3).
