The removable seat lock control transmission for a motor vehicle has signal sources (13,15,16) connected to a locking control (3). Receivers (15,16) are provided on the seat (12). There are connectors for actuating power supply and the transmission of locking control signals when the seat is mounted on its support rails (4-11). The principal connector can be mounted on at least one of the rails.
