<p>A seal structure, comprising a sliding member (2), supporting member (1) slidably storing the sliding member, and a seal ring (5) provided between the sliding member (2) and the supporting member (1), the seal ring (5) being formed of a lip part (10) on which a hydraulic oil pressure and a heel part (11) which supports an acted pressure, whereby, because an annular pressure receiving area between the inner and outer peripheries of the lip part (10) is formed smaller than an annular supporting area between the inner and outer peripheries of the heel part (11), a pressure acting on the ring seal is reduced by reducing the pressure receiving area of the lip part smaller than the supporting area of the heel part so that the heel part is prevented from being deformed to the sliding surface side. <IMAGE></p> |
