PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bed device for improving the outer design and looking of a head board in any modes of use when two beds are joinedly or separatedly used by mounting the head board at a variable angle. SOLUTION: A head board 7 is mounted to a mounting part 6 so that its mounting angle can be varied. In using two beds separately, the head boards 7, 7 are mounted by engaging locking means 12, 12 to lateral rods 9, 9 of the mounting parts 6, 6, respectively. Under the condition, screws 14, 14 are screwed into screw holes 13b, 13d via through holes, respectively. With the head boards 7, 7 of paired beds 1, 2 mounted to the mounting parts 6, 6 inclinedly at the same angle in the opposite directions, the circular-arc shape 7b, 7b at upper end surfaces of the head boards 7, 7 form one circle symmetric in the right and left directions around a joint part between the beds 1, 2.
