PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cool a cargo handling motor without providing another cooling fan separate from the cargo handling motor by providing a temperature sensor for detecting the temperature of the cargo handling motor, and actuating the cargo handling motor to cool the cargo handling motor by a cooling fan in the case of the temperature detected by the temperature sensor being the cooling start temperature or higher. SOLUTION: A temperature sensor 4 for measuring the temperature of a cargo handling motor 3 is mounted on the cargo handling motor 3, and a control circuit 105 is connected to a driving circuit 2 of the cargo handling motor 3 and the temperature sensor 4. In this control circuit 105, when a cargo handling lever switch 6 is not on, the motor temperature of the cargo handling motor 3 detected by the temperature sensor 4 is compared with the preset cooling start temperature. In the case of the motor temperature being the cooling start temperature or higher, the cargo handling motor 3 is driven at lower rotating speed than normal-rotating speed. The carbo handling motor 3 can thereby be rapidly cooled by a cooling fan 7.
