Epoxy resin growth and corrosion preventing coating composition contains a thermoplastic resin based on copolymerized 9/10C aromatic hydrocarbon and optionally dye and filler and is free of solvents, biocides and coal tar. Independent claims are included for the application of the above composition to a metal object and an object coated with the above composition.
