PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To seal the on-off parts of the door panel, trank panel and glass of a vehicle such as a car or the like. SOLUTION: A weather strip main body is molded from a longitudinal core body, the intermediate adhesive layer provided to the outer periphery of the core body and the protective coating layer provided to the outer peripheral surface of the intermediate adhesive layer. The core body is molded from a thermoplastic elastomer resin or a foamed material thereof and the intermediate adhesive layer from a first extrusion molding machine 20 and the protective coating layer comprising an olefinic or styrenic resin from a second extrusion machine 21 are successivly fused and laminated to the core body in a mold die. Or, the core body is extruded from the first extrusion molding machine to be molded by a first mold die to be allowed to run through a second mold die and the intermediate adhesive layer comprising a soft synthetic resin from a second extrusion molding machine and the protective coating layer from a third extrusion molding machine are successively fused and laminated to the core body in the second mold die. |
