An electrical connector part for terminating an electric cable comprises a one-piece body part which houses a conductor terminating means and is formed with a circumferential surface for overlapping by an end portion of the shield of the cable. A spring in the form of a coiled metal ribbon is wrapped around the portion of cable shield which overlaps the circumferential surface of the body part.
