PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tea strainer with a holder between a tea strainer net and a lug for permitting tea to be poured with the tea strainer put on any size of teacup without being held by a hand and a water level to be checked. SOLUTION: A triangular holder 2 is fitted around a tea strainer net 1 and a lug 3 is attached to one of the peaks of a triangle. Among a triangle, a quadrangle and other polygons having sides containing the circumference of the tea strainer net, the triangle has the longest distance 7 between the peak and the circumference 5 of the tea strainer net and still it is more stable than others having only two supports. |
