摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a material which has strength and strength stability fitted to the specialty of its use and also has extremely superior brazability and can provide the advantages of bronze. SOLUTION: This material has a composition consisting of 4-12% tin, 0.1-4% iron, and the balance copper with ordinary impurities and is used for manufacturing component members which are to be joined by thermal action and where at least one of the members to be joined is composed of a copper-tin-iron alloy. In the case where a brazing process is selected as a joining means, the operating temperature of a brazing filler metal is >300 deg.C and melt fusion welding or welding with pressure is used for joining.
