PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing pulp-molded body in which the drying efficiency of the molded body still including moist is increased and the shape on the mold inner surface can be faithfully transcribed to the surface of the molded product. SOLUTION: A pulp-formed body 1 is produced by molding pulp slurry in a pulp-screening type mold 1, then draining the remaining pulp in the pulp- screening mold 1 and releasing the molded body from the mold, as it is still moistened, then, setting the still moistening molded body 7 in the drying mold and drying it with heat.
